My recipe that I am going to share with you this week is a recipe that my sister shared with me. It has a definite South African flare to it. Not only is it a great warming and hearty meal but you can put it together for under $10.00

Curried Mince served with rice
You need:
500g Lean Mince
1 onion Chooped (optional)
Garlic (optional)
1 tin of Garden Vegetables in brine
1 packet of Brown Onion Soup
1-2 Tablespoons of Curry powder (depending how spicy you want it)
Pepper to taste.

How to:
Fry your onions, add garlic and curry powder.
Add your meat and brown.
Add the whole tin of veggies, brine and all.
Sprinkle the brown onion soup over the meat and veggies and stir in well. You may need to add some extra water if it gets too thick.
Allow to simmer for 5-10 minutes and then serve on a bed of rice. Top with some sprouts.
