New - Mix and Match Sox

I finally wrote a pattern that makes sense to me and many others I am hoping!

I used to find the task of knitting socks really daunting and always needed someone knowledgeable close by whenever I was knitting a pair! This weekend, I decided it was time, after managing to knit fingered gloves to attempt to knit some socks without much effort.

I started this pattern off following a german pattern, then got a bit befuddled with the instructions and so I found an english pattern and then decided it would be easier to make my own by combining my knowledge in sock knitting but at the same time making it easy enough for anyone to follow! Thus the Mix and Match Sox knitting pattern.

Throughout the pattern I have added some images so that you will know what you should be looking at, this way even novices can attempt it. All you will need to know is how to knit and purl.

It took me just under 4 days to knit the socks and they are really warm and cosy! The best thing is they are really easy to knit!

You can find my pattern here by clicking the Etsy button above. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me

Join me tomorrow and share in my Kitchen Krafts - where I will be showing you how to make home-made Chutney. I would love for you to share your Kitchen Krafts with me so please come back and share your link.....

See you tomorrow - Thursday 9th February

    1. Hi Fairyluver,

You'll be surprised how not-so-complicated sock knitting can be. Good luck with the sweater - I was also there not so long ago, but passion for the craft took over and I have been knitting up a storm ever since :-D

      Thanks for visiting
