FO Friday / Creative Friday - Simply Cabled Too

Friday again, my are the weeks just flying by.
I have finished my Simply Cabled Too Sox for Kay and for those of you who are interested the pattern, it is available for purchase from my Craftsy and Etsy Shop.

On a different note, our community has started to clear a space in the woods on the other side of our valley for the new hanging bridge project that is about to happen. This was done with a helicopter! How interesting.....Will keep you updated on the progress, not that I would ever walk across it, but I can take photos from afar :-D

It is also a gorgeously warm morning thus far. My kitty decided she would suck up as much of the sunshine as she could:
I will be sharing this post over at:
Have a great Weekend!

  4. Nice cabled socks and very cheery colours. They built our CN tower in Toronto in a similar fashion - it was very interesting to watch the structure take shape.

    1. Oh wow, it is absolutely fascinating.

I have seen the CN Tower, was in Toronto many moons ago, didn't go into the building though. I often find myself amazed at the feats mankind are capable of!

    1. Hi there,

The yarn I used is Lang Jawoll Sock wool - I think it was Superwash Colour Aktion. Not sure about the dye lot though will try and find out and let you know. :-D Bought it from my local wool lady :-D

      Thanks for popping round.

  10. Hi Kathleen,

Thank you, yes it really was, I will keep updating with the progress, it should be interesting, the bridge should bring us from one side of the valley to the other. The route to get from point A to point B takes us about 20 minutes with the bus so it will be fun to see how much faster we get there :-D

    Have a fantastic weekend
