Spring???

On Friday, I helped my mother-in-law begin our garden preparations for the wonderful spring that was definitely in the air. We shovelled the compost, that has been standing still and creating wonderful, moist, rich earth since last season, onto the beds that will be ploughed and gotten ready shortly.

I will make photos of the progress as it happens. I did want to do that on Saturday, but the weather wasn't that great so I thought by this morning we should be back to the blue skies and sunshine that we had last week.......Well imagine my surprise this morning when I opened the windows to find this:

I am not sure if this can be classified as Spring???? Snow :-( Oh well the winter woollies are still in the cupboard!

On an excited note......our boxes should be arriving today YAY!!!! The children are so excited, they can't wait to unpack their favourite books and stuff! AND all our summer clothes are in the boxes not that we need them right now, but I am hoping we will need them shortly!

I can't wait to make some colloidal silver again, can't get the stuff here, luckily I packed my generator.

On a craftier note: Finished some wrist warmers, will blog about them on Wednesday! Have put hubby's pullover back on my needles as the rest of the wool is in the boxes so I can eventually finish it off!!!

As you may recall, this is my progress thus far:

I have just started both sleeves and should be finished shortly, hopefully by Friday at the latest.
Have a great Monday!

  1. Wow, good job your winter clothing is still to hand!

The jumper looks great, I love the stitch texture on the torso.
