Worthy Wednesday, Fair Isle and such

Wednesday already, my word, where has this year gone?
I am already back in Switzerland 10 months, I can't quite believe it!
Well, lets get right into Wednesday....so much to share.

As you can see, there hasn't been too much change in my WIP this week, I guess that is because what I am busy on I still can't really show you :(

Reading wise: Still trudging through "Game of Thrones" I am on chapter 39 of 70-something and still hoping I will get into this book :( I give this book until Sunday, (hopefully threatening it will help LOL!) thereafter I will be laying it to rest.

Over the last week, I have been feverishly finishing up my Fair Isle pattern. And finally it is done: I will post more images of this pattern (on my model) later today when it is dry as the pieces are still blocking.

There you have it, my Fair Isle Pattern (Easy as Pie ;)). I have made this pattern as easy as I can for all of you out there who would want to try two-toned knitting but have yet to dare. I also offer my support for those of you knitting this pattern in-case anything is unclear or you need some extra advice whilst knitting.

Now the fun part.....you still have just under 24 hours to enter yourself into the Give-Away to be one of the first people to get this pattern.
Thank you to all those who have entered already.

Tomorrow I will be uploading this pattern into my Craftsy store for sale. Grab your chance, be the first :)

Onto the most awesome part of today's post......

If you have been following my blog this week, you will already know that tomorrow (well, it will be published later today for all you early birdies out there) I will be having my first BlogSwap partner - YAY Me!! I am so excited about this I could burst.

Katharina will be sharing her tutorial on how to felt slippers here on Tutorial Thursday and I will be posting how to needle-felt a bag over on her blog. What's in it for you? Well, besides the awesome tutorials you can enter yourself in not 1 but 2 amazing Give-Aways.

On Katharinas' Blog you will be able to win yourself my finished bag (above), and on my blog you will be able to win a goody bag filled with wonderful awesomeness that Katharina has put together. Do come back tomorrow to see what that will be ;)

Don't forget you still have a couple of days to join in with the Secret Santa Handmade Swap which will close for participants next week. Hope you will consider joining.

As always, I will be sharing this post with all those lovely talented people in my Link Ups

Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it :)
See you tomorrow.

Click on the Give-Away window below, and once you have left a comment click on the "I commented" to get yourself an automatic 2 entries. Then other options will open up for you to grab yourself extra entry points - You can grab yourself a total of 7 entries :D.

    1. Hi Tracey,
Are you using IE as your browser? I just opened it and realised that you can't see the widget in there. Will try and fix that for you.
      If you are using Chrome:
Below the "Pin it" button there is a widget which says ***Giveaway*** A copy of Fair Isle Quick and Easy Pattern. It then has a tab which says enter to win, click on this and you will have various options to win.
Don't worry, I have entered you and the two ladies above you into the competition to win :)
Thanks for visiting, have a super day.

    1. Hi Angela,

I have contacted the owners of the widget regarding the "not being able to see it" issue, hopefully we can sort it out. Unfortunately the Give-Away finished early this morning, but do come back soon, I am planning another similar Give-Away at the beginning of November :)
      Thanks for visiting.
