Stitches Explained - M1L - Make-One-Left


Here is a quick help to show you how to make an increase if you see this in your pattern:

M1l or M1L (Make-One-Left)

First locate the thread/strand between the two stitches:


Then pick up the thread on your left needle from the front:


Now knit this stitch from the back. It will be a little tight - This is correct!


TIP: if the stitch is way too easy and loose, you are knitting it from the wrong side!
