Wednesdays

Good morning one and all,

I don't know how you all feel about Wednesday but I use my Wednesdays as a gauge to see how busy I have been through the last 7 days.

It is always with a little excitement that I lay out my current WIPs to photograph, do you feel the same?

XXX

What are you busy reading?

I am thoroughly enjoying our Book-Club book choice which I started to read on Tuesday.
So far I am totally engrossed in the story and hope it continues in this way!

If you are wanting to join in you still can, (the official start is on Friday the 25th Jan) I would love to have a couple more people join in the fun.
Click HERE to find out more!

I am also reading "The Practical Beekeeper" as I am hoping to possibly pursue this topic this spring (I can't wait!!!)

Don't forget to come by tomorrow for Tutorial Thursdays.
I will be showing you something "Valentiney"
Can you guess what it will be?

And now without further ado - Onto this weeks WIPs:

Well as you can see I have two projects on the go, and I am very proud to say  that I have yet to stray from my 2013 Queue of things to get done!

This is my first WIP I want to show you. It is a birthday scarf/shawl for someone special, I hope to have it finished shortly, but I am having to knit this one on the sly :O
I am knitting it in Drops Fabel, and am enjoying the yarn. This is a pattern I have knit before, but I will tell you all about it once it is done and I can reveal all :)

My second project is really exciting for me to be able to share and I hope you also will be a little excited?!

This is my FREE Fair-Isle cap pattern I am busy with.

I am just about done, and am hoping it will be finished for Friday (and otherwise definitely for next Wednesday) so that I can share the pattern with you.

Talking of colour-work, I did promise you some advice on how to work through the colour-work and managed to create a little video to share with you all.
I posted it on Monday, but here it is again incase you missed it.
I hope it helps a little.
I would love to hear your thoughts.

I wish you all a creative mid-week and look forward to catching up again with you soon :)
For more amazing creativeness, do pop over to Tami and Ginny where I will be linking today's post.

  2. Hello, Natalie, just a few words to say how much I enjoy reading you. I participate at yarn along too!! But my knitting is a simple sweater. For now, you can see my reading (I have started this book before I join you for the bookclub but the book is next on my reading list)
Many blessings to you and so happy to meet you.

I haven't received my book order yet, hoping it will arrive today so I can get started.
We have been thinking of beekeeping for a few years but never quite seem to get around to it! My kids go through so much honey!

  11. Beekeeping! Such a wonderful thing to do, I've read about a resurgence of this in inner city rooftops. Good luck! And the fair isle looks amazing, really need to learn how to do that :-)
