Tutorial Thursdays - Are you ready for Valentines' Day?

Welcome to Tutorial Thursdays on Marigolds' Loft.
As Valentines' Day is next Thursday, I would love to see some of your Valentine Themed crafts, do link up below.

Lets' get on with today's craft. I am sticking with some needle-felting for a quick, fluffy Card.

To make this card you will need:

Some card
a needle-felting needle
some wool-roving for the felting
Needle-felting foam
Some ribbon
A cookie cutter in the shape of a heart
Dekopointers* for the decorations.

Start by placing the cookie-cutter on your foam and using small bits of the roving, needle-felt the heart onto the foam.

Remove the felt off the foam

The underside is wonderfully fluffy and I chose to use this side as the right-side.

Fold the card in half and stick the felted heart where you would like to have it.

Cut some ribbon to finish the cards edges.

Then using *Decopointers add the finishing touches to your card.

*I use Gonis Products as I am a distributor of these amazing crafty helpers. If you cannot find these products in your area, you will have to substitute them. Hence the descriptions in brackets. For more information on these products, please feel free to contact me.

As a recap:
Here is a video I created a while ago for another needle felted project, so that you can get the idea how it is done, incase you were asking :)

    1. Hi Holly,
      Thank you,
It really is quite easy, once you start with it you will find that it is really fun. Be careful with the needles though, they are pretty sharp, and when you get into the rhythmic of felting it can happen (has happened on more than one occasion) that you go through finger tips! But because they are that sharp it isn't too painful LOL!!
      Thanks for visiting.
