Rather late than never I guess!
Sorry this post is so late today, this flu has knocked me for six, I haven't been this drained by a bug before. Even though it has been a week today, I am not feeling great, not at all like my usual well self!
I manage a couple of hours out of bed, but by lunch time I feel the bed calling my name and find my way back to my room coughing and spluttering!
I am hoping that things will start to look up from now on in, and as I am on holiday this week (obviously - am never sick when at work :( ), I am giving myself the time to recuperate and trying not to force myself forward in any way but I am getting a little frustrated by the length of it all!
Okay enough whining from me!......

Anyway, let me tell you a little about my WIP for this week.
I finished Hubbys' Fingerless gloves - more about them on Friday and am now busy with the pair of socks for Kay. I am hoping I will be done with this pair for Friday, will see if I manage.

I like the cable on your sock, and the color.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you've had a nasty dose of the flu, keep resting. Hope you don't end up spending all your holiday week in bed.
Rest will do wonders...and hope you feel better soon
ReplyDeleteI know what you're going thru, i just went thru three different viruses, they just stick to me this year.
ReplyDeleteYour socks look beautiful!
oh no! yuck for the sickness.
ReplyDeletethe project looks lovely though.
get rest and drink lots of fluids.
Your socks are looking great, I'm sorry your under the weather, rest and recuperate and don't push it is about the only thing to cure it. Feel better soon. I'm really enjoying The Book Thief as well !
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry you are feeling so sick! The flu is not a fun thing to have. Have you tried raw apple cider vinegar in water with some honey? We take that a lot here, and it seems to lessen any sickness we might get. Love the socks!
ReplyDeleteStupid Flu. I hope you're on the mend.
ReplyDeleteThank you to all you lovely ladies for all of your lovely caring comments, I am so touched by each of them.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate each of your visits.
Have a super Mid-Week

Feel better soon! I ALWAYS get sick on holidays. Something about letting my guard down and relaxing :(
ReplyDeleteLovely purple for that sock. I don't think I'd manage cables with the flu!
These bugs.... How nasty they can be!! Lots of rest and lots of fluid... and some knitting, of course!
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing worse than post flu blagh...........hope you're feeling better soon, and in the meantime the best medicine is to cosy up in bed surrounded by your lovely knitting projects and lots of hot drinks.
