Whew, another month gone, can't believe it!
As today is the end of July I am going to update you on my Stash-Busting efforts for this month.
If you have been following this space each Wednesday, you will have seen that I have spent this month finishing up most of my stash drawer on my Stash-busting Blanket.
I am just about finished my last ball of beige :( Which means I will have to be ordering some more over the next while to complete the blanket and until then it will go into hibernation, which is a pity, but that is just how some things progress!
It has reached the size of just under 132cm which is still a entire meter away from where I need it to be. Now to work out how much more yarn I will be needing --- hmm I am sure hubby will help me with that :)
I want to stay away from ordering new yarn until my drawer is empty for that really great feeling of achievement, so I better hurry and get the new/old projects done and out of the way!
The good news is that as the blanket stands it is stash-busted, so this morning I weighed it and was amazed to find out that the blanket weighs 1'749g :O
1'818g
1'749g
3'567g
Wow - 3.5kg of wool - that is incredible!
So a recap on my stash-busting drawer and projects:
1. Jassy' Jumper - Completed
2. Birthday Gift for my Sister-In-Law - Completed
3. Birthday Scarf for Kayla - Completed
4. Socks for me - Completed
5. Socks for Jas - Completed
7. Pullover for Hubby
8. Cleo for me - busy
9. Scarf for me
10. Fingerless Gloves for hubby - Completed
11. Perfectly Pink Sweater - Completed
I will be picking up my Cleo again after today and try to get that finished asap as I would like to move on to hubby pullover before the cold returns!
Last Friday was our monthly knitting madness hangout, it was so much fun! We have since grown to 3 participants which is awesome and it such an amazing time spent with wonderful, interesting people, talking about what we love most - knitting and everything that includes :)
