Still Cleo For Me.....

cleo drops

Another Wednesday, the same WIP :( I do apologize if this project is dragging on and on and on.....

I have been knitting till I get cramps just to get somewhere!
It is working as I am thankfully on the second sleeve.
As I wrote down each row I knitted on sleeve 1 I know exactly how much more I have to knit of this sleeve which is kind of motivating :)

I have roughly 125 rows to go until I can get back to finishing this pullover off - YAY!!!

The first sleeve is back on the needles of the body and I really do like the way the sleeve and body come together, so even with all the extra ripping back of each piece I am still loving the overall look of the soon to be (let's hope real soon) project!

Reading wise: I am still reading Life of Pi and am thoroughly enjoying this title!

I have also got my hands on a reference book for Candida, as I am of the opinion that this is one of the most dangerous silent killers. I have been struggling with a post nasal drip all of my life as well as hay fever which is getting worse as the years progress and I am wanting to see if I can eradicate these annoyances by changing the way I eat.

I know a lot of people who hear Candida think of it as the harmless, albeit annoying Thrush, but it is so much more than that, and if left untreated can become systemic and show itself in an array of symptoms that get mistakenly diagnosed as other diseases like MS, Fibromyalgia, Arthritis etc.

Anyway, the plan is to see if following a dietary program for a while makes a difference. I will keep you updated :)

Don't forget to enter yourself into this month's amazing giveaway to win one of these incredible diaries:

As well as the Giveaway that is still running for the craft products which ends in 10 days.

I wish you all a productive week and look forward to seeing you again tomorrow :)

  1. I think it is turning out beautifully! As far as food choices healing you, there is definitely something to be said for an elimination type diet. I finally got rid of dairy (oh, my love for cheese!) and so many health issues I have had (headaches, constant sinus issues, colds every other week) just went away. Now, I still do eat cheese on occasion, but it isn't often because i know how awful I will feel afterwards. Looking forward to hearing more!

    1. Hi Heather,
I know at the moment it seems like so much work to change our diet, but I am going to go about it slowly, first figure out where to get my hands on all the new foodtypes and then set the plan into action.
Thanks so much for the visit.

  2. Your Jumper looks like it's going to be lovely. Wishing you lots of luck with the anti cnadida diet, when I tried it I found it really hard to stick too, but with the Lyme disease I had so little energy for cooking. I hope you find it helps.

    1. Hi Clare,
I do see it being a bit harder to stick to with my girls going to school and having different meals etc. but I am sure we can somehow make it work.
Thank you so much for visiting.

    1. Hi Emma,
Thanks so much, the wool is also so wonderfully soft, this Drops is a mix with added Mulberry silk, it is lovely, can't wait until I can wear it instead of work on it!
      Thanks for your visit.

  4. I hear ya! The sweater I'm working on requires size three needles. I knit for an hour and only get about an inch if I'm lucky!
Persevere! The final product will be so worth it!

    1. Hi Christine,
Yip, that is exactly how it has been going! With the pattern, although it is really easy and uncomplicated, I have had to rip back because I wasn't paying attention which is annoying, but now that I am on sleeve 2 the end is just over the horizon :)
      Thanks so much for visiting.
