KALs and Books

Drops Fabel

A new month and new work-in-progress challenges!
This past week I managed to be quite productive as you will see on Friday ;)

Today I have a single project to share with you once again.
Well, it is not so much a Work-in-progress as a Pattern-in-Progress!

This week I would like to share with you my new Spring KAL that is now accepting signups.

The pattern is finished and I am adding the finishing touches to the piece as well as getting the tutorials that will be available throughout the knitting progress finished and ready for those of you taking part in the KAL that starts on the 14th April.

Knitting Madness Knitalong April 2014

Places are limited to 15 people and have already begun to fill up.
If you would like to take part in this KAL please find your way over to the Ravelry Group Home and add your name to the list.

This is a great Knitalong for beginners as well as those who are old hats at sock-knitting.
The pattern will be broken down into bite-sized pieces that will be accompanied by video and photo tutorials along the way. These will teach you all the techniques you will need to finish the pair of socks.

To take part you will need to know how to knit and purl. It is also advantageous if you have knit in the round before or if you are wanting to give it a go.

I look forward to spending this time with you all :)

Reading Wise this week:

I am still reading

the 100 year old man who climbed out of the window and disappeared

and am enjoying it. I do wish I had a little more time to read though!

I am also listening to:

Wheat Belly

And am really getting into this work - some scary stuff:)

What have you been working on and knitting this week?
Do join me tomorrow for the Creative April Challenge!

Have a great rest of your week.
x

I will be sharing this post with all my lovely Wednesday ladies.

  1. That book sounds very interesting. I might have to check it out. Beautiful sock pattern as well. I'm a sucker for cables!

  2. Everyone seems to be reading "Wheat Belly" lately--I may have to give it a go.
