Contemplation

wip wednesday

Wednesday again, and with that exactly 11 weeks till Christmas.
Our stores have already started on their Christmas displays which I always find mildly irritating!

Each year the displays get earlier and earlier, one of these days we will have a dedicated shelf or rows of shelves all year round filled with Christmas goodies!

What is the point besides killing all possible festive spirit that humankind could still possibly possess?

When do your stores start with their displays?

This week I have quite a couple of new projects that will be started today or tomorrow...

Drops Fabel

These balls are ready to be cast on :)
They belong to Hubby's pair of Tardis Socks and Kays' Surprise socks which are still just an idea and we will have to see if they work out how I hope!

Jas's pair of Tardis socks are complete and will be shared with you on Friday.

5-in-1 adventure

These are the second pair of 5-in-1 Adventure gloves. This pair will probably be for Jas as she likes turquoise and then I will start on Kays pair which will probably be black and white. :)

Reading wise: I have started reading Not my Daughter. I am not far enough to have an opinion yet and will let you know once I get a little further.

Hmmmm, reading?

Come October I tend to find that I am all read out!

Do you get that feeling?

I feel that each title I pick up is going to be a bit blah blah and I just can't find any enjoyment in it :(.

I guess it has something to do with the time of year as each year I sign up for the Goodreads reading challenge and get going well enough, but come autumn it grinds to a halt until January.

Next year I think I will need to get 70% of my book challenge read before June - let us see how that goes!

Talking of books and Christmas reminds me to remind you.....

secret santa exchange

If you are wanting to take part in the Secret Santa Handmade Bookmark Exchange this year, you still have time to sign up :)

Have a great rest of your week.

I will be sharing this post with all my Wednesday friends :)

    1. Hi Sarah,
Gosh, your challenge is huge though! How do you manage to get through so many books? Even with cheating I wouldn't be able to read more than 60% of my challenge and I only have 20 to get through :D
Thanks for visiting, enjoy your weekend.

    1. Hi Lucy,
Yes, I too am a great fan of turquoise coloured yarn, although hubby has seen enough of it I think ;)
