Weaving Progress

media garn

Last week I was in a course which allowed me some practical train-knitting time, but other than that I didn't have much time for anything else.

Over the weekend, I managed to finally get my table-runner a little further and hope to have this part of my warp finished by this weekend so that I can start with the place mats :)

Because my warp is moving forward at a pace that I am enjoying, I have started to warp for my next project.

This warp will become a lounge rug with matching cushions for our new living room :)

I can't wait to begin this project!

My August socks are progressing, and I am trying to get at least a pattern repeat done a day so that I will have them ready in time for the end of the month.

I still really like this mindless pattern with wow effect and am really glad I chose this for a month's project.

Don't forget, if you want to join in the Sock-along fun, you still have lots of time :)

You can find all the info HERE.

What have you been up to this week?

I will be sharing this post with all of my creative friends, so do pop over there and be inspired :)

See you soon.

  1. I am so jealous of your weaving. It has always been a skill that I have wanted to learn, but have yet to find the time. I love that delicate pattern of those socks.
