I am almost finished reading Patricia Cornwell's Book - "Portrait of a Killer - Jack the Ripper case closed" (available through Book Depository click on image above)
Now, I am by no means a ripperologist, but I have read briefly about him, and watched the various documentaries that were shown about the psychopath who eluded Scotland Yard. I must say this has been a very interesting book, and I feel that Patricia Cornwell has some very valid points.
Whilst reading the book, I googled for a bit more information and came across many pros and cons about her writing. I think she has probably come very close to the truth, if not solved the case.
Again, I am not a person who is very educated in the subject at all, but I feel that if she is correct, and can be proven to be correct, it could get a bit uncomfortable revering Walter Sickert as a brilliant painter and then in the same breath showing distaste for him being the most-wanted psychopath!
My vote - not so sure, but this image of him does kind of give me a strange feeling, but then again, it might just be the photo.
If you are interested and want to read more about the various suspects etc. a good website to visit is Casebook.
