Secret Santa Handmade Swap

I know this is no FO but I really want to share - it is Handmade LOL!

 Well folks it is already almost that time of the year again - YEAH! Don't be scared, it is fun!

 If you are wanting to make handmade goodies I am guessing that you, like myself, have already started, otherwise there will be no chance of getting them into the Christmas stockings in time!

 This year I wanted to start something that would go around the World. 
What better way to do it than with a Swap! 
With this in mind, I am kicking off my Secret Santa Handmade Swap today.
I hope many of you will be taking part, tell your friends, the more the merrier!
Whoever has a blog is eligible to take part.

Please help me to make this event World Wide and Awesome!!!!!

 The rules to this Swap:

  1. You need to be a follower of my Blog.
  2. You need to own a Blog.
  3. You need to be willing to send the parcel World-Wide!
  4. You need to be willing to spend between $10 and $15 on the raw materials for your project.
  5. Your project may not exceed $15.
  6. Your project must be handmade by you.
  7. If you sign up for this Swap, you are giving me your personal pledge that you will also send your Swap partner a gift. (I have been a part of Swaps where poor folk taking part have sent their Swaps off never to receive one in return, this is a real tragedy)
  8. Admissions for the Swap close on the 15th October 2012. 
  9. Your parcel needs to be ready to ship by the 20th November 2012. 
  10. I need all parties to send their partners a tracking number once their Parcel has been shipped for their reference.
  11. Please add one of the buttons below to your sidebars and/or posts.

In the mail I would appreciate it if you send me your postal addy, and let me know a little about yourself - colours you like, or don't like, etc. 

Keep in mind that this tidbit of info you send me will in turn be sent to your Secret Santa so that they can create the perfect gift for you, so include as much info as you feel the need to (I will exclude blog names when sending it to your partners as that detail will be kept quiet till the Reveal day.) If you feel the need to contact your partner, please keep your blog details secret until then.

You can blog about your progress all you like, but just don't let on who your Secret Santa recipient is.

You may include all your details in your parcel. Once the parcels have been received by their recipients, it will be Reveal day, which if all works out how I hope it will, should all start to happen around December 20th, just in time for the Festive season!

Then all the Secret Santas will have the opportunity to reveal their identities (if your Secret Santa Recipient hasn't figured it out once they open their parcel ;-)) and also brag about what they received :-D.

    Yes please, count me in. yes to all the above but may have some problems with n°11, I never seem to be able to add buttons to my side bar but I will try.

      Hi Emma,
      So glad you are joining, thank you.
      Here is instructions for the button :)

      In the Sidebar:

      1. In the box below the button, highlight and copy the code.
      2. In your blog, open your layout and then "Add a Gadget" and choose the option "HTML/Java Script" (or something like that)
      3. Paste the code you copied into the content bit of the gadget, add a title if you want to and Save.

      In a Post:

      1. In the box below the button, highlight and copy the code.
      2. In your Blogpost, you should have a tab which says "HTML" or something to that effect.
      3. Open this tab, and go to the bottom of the script.
      4. Paste the Code on the next line.
      5. Return to your "Compose" Tab, and the button should be below your post.

      Hope that helps.

      BTW: I just started a post so I don't forget to post your button for Secret Santa and something is wrong with it. The link is not working. I can't see the problem in the HTML code but it is not working the way it should be (which would be linking to this post, I guess ;-)).
