Welcome back to Tutorial Thursdays.
Today I want to show you how you can snazzy up a plain terracotta plant pot.
Today I want to show you how you can snazzy up a plain terracotta plant pot.
Needed for this craft:
Terracotta pot
Colour Flakes* (acrylic coloured flakes)
Gonis Decor* (Universal paints that I use to cover the pot)
Finisher* (a water resistant lack)
Using the Gonis Decor paint the section of the pot that will not be getting covered in the coloured flakes
Give your pot a couple of coats to make sure it is covered properly.
Once dry, use the finisher and apply to the bottom of the pot where the flakes will be going.
Repeat the process for the top of the pot.
Once the pot is completely dry, cover the whole pot in the finisher again, this will help to smooth the appearance of the chips.
And there you have a really classy way to pep up your pots!
*I am a Gonis Distributor, if you cannot find these products in your vicinity you will have to substitute them - hence the descriptions in brackets.
And now its' your turn :)
