Just Two More!

Only two more Fridays until Christmas, I can't quite believe the speed with which this year is rushing to an end, can you?

I am still on track with my Gift making and I should manage to finish all my expected projects right on time.

I am hoping to squeeze one or two more projects out for hubby, but time will tell if that is possible at all!

These are my projects from this week that have been managed to be completed.

Above is Jas's Bray Cap.

I am a sucker for any kind of cable and I loved this pattern.
Not only was it fun, but I feel a lot of thought was put into this creation and it knit up so wonderfully.

I used Drops Karisma for this project and think that the yarn and the pattern compliment each other perfectly :)

Next up - meet one of the Mandrakes:

Mandrake

The other Mandrakes are being sewn together and will hopefully be finished over the next couple of days - that is if I get enough secret working time to myself :D

I loved this project too.
As I am not a very experienced crocheter I was thrilled to see that the finished project does resemble the pattern a little  :)
I did have a rather testing time working out the finer details of the arms and legs, but that was simply because I had never crocheted such a small piece before!

What I did find missing in this pattern was the amount of material needed to begin with and the dimensions were also not clearly stated anywhere so that did make it into a bit of a guessing game, but I am still very happy with the results.

I could see myself doing another project along similar lines again.

What have you managed to complete this week?

I will be sharing this post with all my Friday Friends.

I wish you all a great weekend.
