I am glad to finally have some new colours to work with and some new projects to look forward to :)
I have finished my cuffs and will show those to you on Friday.
This week I will be adventurously starting a couple of projects, for a couple of reasons!
Firstly, it is getting cooler, so I have the urge to knit!
Secondly, I am excited as I finally have the urge to knit!
Thirdly, as always, I have decided to spontaneously start some new projects in the hope that they will be completed in time for the festive season!
Yesterday I ordered some yarn in preparation for some gift knitting. I am hoping the parcel will be here by next week and then I will show you what I have in mind.
In the image above you see some of the beginnings of new projects.
Firstly:
These two lovely autumny coloured yarns will be used to knit myself some Zigzagular socks :)
Next:
These two will be the first of the festive knits. I plan on making Jas some Classy Slip-Up Socks.
Besides that I plan on finishing up my last kitchen cloth which has been hibernating for the longest time!
Today, I also signed myself up for the SAL that Truly Myrtle is hosting.
For the SAL I plan on knitting Libby's awesome Mindful Shawl (She is offering a discount on her patterns until the 2nd September) and am considering knitting it in this Regia Yarn that I have in my stash, but I am not sure if it will work out well :O
If not, there will be some other yarn coming in my order that I could definitely use for this project!
I also plan on sewing myself a thing or two! Not sure what just yet but I do have some fabric waiting to get a new form!
What have you been up to this week?
I will be sharing this with all my creative weekly friends, so head on over for some awesome inspiration!
See you on Friday.

Beautiful yarn, love the colours. I am a little envious I would love to be able to knit socks.

DeleteThey really aren't very hard to do, i would rally you on to give them a bash :)
There are some really great resources out there for sock knitting beginners. I also have a sock pattern that may help you starting off. It is a free pattern, you will find it under the top tab - Patterns. Just scroll down a little :)
Thanks for visiting.
