Woolly Wednesdays

Madeleine Tosh

Don't you just love it when the Postman brings you such loveliness?

I do!

And that twice this week :)

Above you see my Monday parcel!

I decided over the weekend to go through my Ravelry Library and fix my queue - yes, fix it - add gorgeous looking projects and prioritze a bit!

So this box was one of the results :D

Inside this box there was:

Drops Andes

Some Drops Andes for this project

Some Madeline Tosh sock for an Antipodes shawl

malabrigo rios

Now this yarn has no project waiting - any ideas?
It was on special so who was I to say no to it!
It is some Malabrigo Rios, I have one skein.

My next delivery that I received this morning was this one :)

Sidi Spinnt

Doesn't it look yummy?!

This gorgeous yarn is planned for this cute pattern

I have a bit planned for the next while I think.....and these are just some of my queue, I also still have WIPs and goodies in hibernation :O

So let me get on to the wips from this week.

First up....

misae tuch

This is the beginnings of my Misae Shawl.

On Monday we had our first meeting of my knitting-club which I have started in my area.
Most of us are taking part in the KAL and it was so brilliant to sit together and knit on the same project - although I did a bit more talking than knitting!

I have had to pull my progress out already once as I found a mistake, but since it still was early days it didn't bother me all too much!

I have since then restarted but with our renovation in full swing I have not had very many moments to myself over the last couple of days.

I do hope to get some more knitting done today.

The yarn from Wollehimmel is really nice to knit with and I love the subtle tones of the three threads together! I am sure this shawl will look amazing when done!

If you would like to sign up for the KAL you still have a chance we only started on Monday and I would love to have you join in!

Hubby's gloves are making steady progress but I am not sure I will have them done for his Birthday on Saturday, I will see - I do hope I manage!

Reading wise: Not much has changed since last week, I am still enjoying the book I have been reading and do hope to get to the end of it soon.

What have you been up to this last week?

Don't forget to come by on Friday and share your FOs with us all, I look forward to seeing what you managed to finish off!

I will be sharing this post with all of my creative weekly friends, so drop in over there for some great inspiration :)

Have a great rest of your week.

  2. I'm on yarn diet and started a project with stash yarn AFTER having finished a project. It's nice when the postman brings a treasure. Have fun! Regula

    1. Hi Regula,
A diet sounds good, I haven't been overly bad this year but I had the urge over the weekend to splurge on some squishy yarn, and it should keep me busy for a while - I hope!
Thanks for your visit, nice to have you back ;)
