FO Fridays

Jassys' Jumper is finished - YEAH!!!

So with that my first big FO of 2013 is done!!!
I took a photo of the inside of the jumper for those of you who were talking about the fair-isle carrying of yarn.

I always over-exaggerate my carrying of yarn when I am working with colour. But that I mean, I will knit the first stitch in the new colour and then I pull the thread at the back of the stitch to make sure it is loose enough, otherwise you will find your colour work will start to bunch together.

Do you know what I mean?
I will take some photos of this and post it on Wednesday so that you can see more clearly how I mean it.

My Destash - Queue for 2013 now looks like this:
1. Jassy's Jumper  Finished
2. Birthday Gift for my Sister-in-law
3. Birthday Scarf for Kayla
4. Fingerless Gloves for Hubby
5. Pullover for Hubby
6. Cleo for me
7. Perfectly Pink
8. Finish my Tops, Tanks and Tees KAL project from last year :O

This is the book we are starting with on the 25th January 2013:

  6. It is gorgeous!! Love your color scheme. Makes me want to break out the color work hat kits I have on hand right now. OK, maybe I should break out the color work sweater that has been AWOL for a few years. I know it's not going to fit, so I am avoiding it. LOL!

  16. It's beautiful! I am starting to learn colorwork. I've started with two colors and slip stitches...I think I'm ready for the next level. Your project inspires me to try.
