Book Review - Divergent

divergent book review

Divergent by Veronica Roth

This is a book that I decided to read because I saw the trailer of the movie, which looked quite suspenseful, and thought that I would have just enough time to get the trilogy done before the movie was available.

When I started the title, I was a little hesitant and hoped that it wouldn't, to some extent, turn out to be a sequel to the Hunger Games (which I loved by the way!) or have a similar course of events. .

As a result of my skepticism it took me a while to get into the novel.

 I am glad I persevered.

It is unlike the Hunger Games, incase you were wondering :), and has just as good of a story line.

It is a really quite a gripping title until now (I am already busy with book 2 of the series) and does have me turning the pages to find out how the story continues.

If you are looking for an agreeable, easy book to read, then this would be one to look at reading.

I would recommend this book to young adults and adults alike.

I give this book:

4 Owls
