Cards, Weaving and Gifts

Card Weaving

If you recall I mentioned these cards last week.
They are cards used for card-weaving or tablet-weaving.
This technique has fascinated me for some time now and I eventually could wait no longer and so I dived into my first project over the weekend.

The warping took a while - nearly 4 hours but the results were so worth it!

This is the band I created:

I guess I am hooked and plan to try more complicated patterns after the Christmas rush is over!

Do you card-weave?

Next up: The other two Mandrakes in all their glory:

Aren't they adorable?
I actually really love them now, they have such character - I can't wait to see the response of the recipients of these two cuties :)

Wristlets Drops Fabel

I made these with thumb openings so that he can use them both ways if necessary.

Cuffs fingerless

I officially only have hubby's socks left to finish and then have completed my Christmas line-up of knitted and crocheted goodies.

I still have some sewing projects to get done over the weekend for all the godparents and granny, but more about that next week.

I will give you a run down of all the "Under the Tree" Goodies after Christmas :)

What did you finish this week?

I will be sharing this post with all of my Friday Friends :)

See you soon
