This week I can only offer you a quick update of my WIPs as not much has been done on this front.
For the next two weeks I will be away on a course, so I more than likely won't be getting a chance to work on anything major in this time either, but if I do I will be sure to share it with you all :)
Kay's Socks: I have just finished the heels and have started on my way to the toes.
Strangely enough I don't feel motivated to start anything else just yet.
Maybe it is the time of year?
Do you feel like this sometimes?
I have a lot of other yarn waiting to be knit up but still I feel quite content to plod along with these socks - they are after all perfect train work and I need some of this over the next two weeks.
Once I have finished these I probably will start on another pair as I have quite a pile of sock yarn waiting for me.
Reading Wise: I have put "The Invisible Library" on hold for the moment as I felt the urge to re-read "Mutant Message Down Under". I have read this book many years ago but in German ("Traumfänger") and I really wanted to read it again in English so I am doing that right now and really enjoying it the second time around too :)
What have you been up to this week?
See you soon

P.S. I will be sharing this with all my creative weekly friends so pop on over to be inspired :)
I love the yarn choice for the socks. Makes them look ultra comfy!
ReplyDeleteHi Natalie,
DeleteYes I am using Red Heart for these socks which is not my usual brand of yarn but it is really nice to knit with :)
Thanks for visiting.

I love the title of the book. I will find it in a thrift store, right? :-) Have fun knitting these and other socks. Regula
ReplyDeleteHi Regula,
DeleteYou may do, otherwise you can definitely find it online.
