Ever had that feeling whilst reading a book that you wish the story would finally start?
I had this feeling through the first 3/4 of this title, wondering when it will eventually get somewhere - and when the action did eventually start I was like "You are kidding me, right?!!!"
There is rarely a case where I have to say, "No, don't read that book, it really isn't that good!", but unfortunately this is one such case.
I found this book to be unbelievable, getting nowhere fast and a real disappointment, but after reading 3/4 of the book already, I thought I may as well see it to the end.
Unfortunately this will make me stay clear of any other titles by the same author, which is a real shame, as it could maybe be his least accomplished work, but I will never know.
Have any of you read any books by Douglas Kennedy that were good?
I award this book:
