A Slight Podcast Addiction!

A Slight Podcast addiction

I discovered listening to podcasts quite a while back, and have knitted away many an hour by listening to the lovely people out there who are as passionate about knitting and yarn as I am.

As my list is growing daily I thought I would share the list of the lovely folk that I listen to on a regular basis.

I know that the amount of pod casters out there can be overwhelming to a beginner listener so maybe this list would be a good place for you to start if you feel daunted by where to begin :)

Most of you knitters have heard of Libby from Truly Myrtle.

truly myrtle

Last year she started a video podcast and has since moved over to audio podcasting.
I love listening to her chat, she always keeps my attention and I look forward to seeing a new episode of hers go up.
Lately she has been interviewing a couple of indie dyers and yarn creators from New Zealand and China.
I would definitely recommend you having a listen to her if you are just starting out!

Her Podcast is named Truly Myrtle and you can find it on most Podcast apps (I am currently using Podcast Addict) as well as listen to it on her Blog should you wish to do that :)

Another recent favourite of mine is a mom and daughter couple who I so love watching :)

legacyknitz

They call themselves LegacyKnitz
The couple - Chelsea and Sue are so natural and whilst watching them I feel as if I am sitting across the table from them having a cup of coffee and oohing and aahing over all of their goodies!
They are just so delightful and refreshing to watch.
I love the bond that the two of them have and I find myself often thinking that I could see my daughters and I being like that in the future (that being if they ever fall in love with knitting and yarn like I have ;))
They podcast on Youtube and release a new podcast every Sunday.
Check them out - so sweet!

Another lovely lady which I have started to watch is Katie of Inside Number 23

inside number 23

She is a tea loving Brit who has such an amazing energy.
She is really delightful to watch!
At the moment she is hosting a Harry Potter Kal on her like named Ravelry group, and is herself quite a big HP fan :)

Definitely give her a watch:

One of my first audio Podcasts that I listened to is the Yarniacs :)

This podcast is hosted by Sharlene and Gayle and is very enabling to say the least ;)
They chat about all of their WIPs, FOs and what they are stalking.
They podcast at regular intervals and it is always something great to listen to.

You can find their podcast on your podcast app or HERE :)

My last Podcast mention for today is Dianne at Suburban Stitcher

She hosts a regular video podcast and this lady can knit up a storm!

I am always amazed at how many socks she has managed to finish between recording - mindblowing!

You can find her on your podcast app too, or watch it online HERE

Well, that my lovelies is what I am listening and watching at the moment.
If you are a Pod-caster and would like me to give you a try, leave a message below or Email me and I will be sure to do so :)

I hope you all have a great week.
See you soon.
