That is quite tough, I mean where do you start?
This is what I definitely want to achieve by the end of this year:
- Knitting socks two at a time
- Knitting socks on the magic loop
- Crochet a complex piece of clothing
- Knit an Icelandic patterned jersey
- Make something that has needle-felting on it.
- Finish the summer cardigan, I started and now frogged - more about that on Wednesday!!
Will keep you updated on what I achieve!
Socks two at a time! Yes! If I am going to make socks, they have to be two at a time, otherwise I would never finish them!!
ReplyDeleteHi MWitch3,
DeleteIs it easy? I have socks that need to be knitted for a friend and I was hoping to try and do that way.
Thanks for visiting.

I also have the magic loop method on my list of things to learn.
ReplyDeleteAbout two socks at a time, I have heard of many knitters/crocheters who do that and it somehow makes sense.
Just right now I am having both sleeves for my cardigan on the same circular needle as I felt it would be easier to do inc/dec and pattern changes at the same time. And I have to say it works perfect!
Hi Kim,
DeleteYes, I must admit, I also knit the bigger things in twos, fronts (if I have two and am not knitting in the round) and sleeves, but I saw some videos of people knitting socks two at a time and it looked a little complicated. They were using 2 cables, and knitting back and forth on those. :O

ReplyDeleteBut You've just upped the anti with your list! I'll have to put one together!
:)
Hi More Like June,
DeleteI loved all your posts from Blog week, it is not always easy to find the time, and you have just started a new chapter in your life, trying to juggle being back at work and everything you were doing before - so I think you did wonderfully!
