Welcome back to Tutorial Thursdays Linky Party.
Today I want to share a fun little craft with you that is great to make and easy to do!
To make these earrings you will need:
Stamp, image or freehand design that you would like to make
First find your design. I created a mandala design through this great online mandala generator:
Once I had finished creating my mandala, I made sure it was about 7.5cm in diameter and printed it out.
Transfer the image two times on to a piece of shrinkle sheet.
Colour in your designs
Cut out and punch a hole on the top edge of each circle. Place on a baking tray.
Heat your oven to 150°C
And place your shrinkies in the oven. Standby as it goes quite quickly.
They will shrink 7 times smaller and 7 times thicker :)
Once they roll up they will also go back to lying flat, when flat remove from oven.
Once cool (they cool pretty quickly) Thread onto your earring clasps.
And there you have it: Shrinky Dink Earrings!
Who said shrinkies can only be enjoyed by children? ;)
Join me next week for another Shrinky Dink Creation.
Now it is your turn. This is your last week to add your tutorial posts for feature next week. This linky will close on Sunday, so do be sure to add all your great tutorial posts below.
To be featured your post must be in a tutorial fashion (Step-by-Step) and photo rich.
If I feature 3 or more of your posts you will have a post dedicated to you and your amazing creations!
What are you waiting for.....link up :)
Have a great week.
P.S: I still have some spots available for button swapping for November, if you are game let me know (It's Free!) :)
