Craftsy Love :)

Craftsy love

Can I just say - I am so in love with Craftsy!
I have a stiff neck from watching my new course that I signed up for!

Online Sewing Class

Sewing with Knits is the name of the course and it comprises of an Online Sewing Class with amazing video classes and loads of class interaction.

I have ordered my material for two projects so far (in Switzerland it is horrendously expensive, it really does turn sewing for yourself into an exclusive hobby, in S.A. we had an awesome material superstore, the prices were fantastic) and now await the delivery so I can get going! Watch this space for more!

To any of my swiss friends out there who know of good places to buy decent priced material, please speak up, there must be affordable material to buy here?

This is not my first Craftsy course, you may recall I did one a while ago for Pizza making (which was a free course) and each course I have done so far has been just as great as the last one.

If you are wanting to try a course, Craftsy has loads of Free Classes on offer and they too are awesome!

Another course that was introduced yesterday is Blocking Handknits with Kate Atherly which has been added to my wishlist. You can never know enough about blocking right? ;)

So how is my WIP going this week?

Well it is moving, albeit very slowly, I was paying too much attention to my screen ;) so I couldn't knit a stitch pattern that easily in front of it!

basque hat

I am loving the colour of this Basque Hat and look forward to seeing it finished.

Reading: I finished "Gone Girl" and am bookless for the moment, I have various choices to read right now and will have started a new book by next week :)

What are you reading right now?

Anyway, I need to get going, I have a video course to watch ;)

Come in and link up your crafts that you have been busy with tomorrow, I look forward to seeing you there. I have a guest over to share a great craft with us all, so don't miss it!

x

I will be sharing this post over at all my lovely Wedesday ladies

Don't forget to sign yourself up for this year's Secret Santa Handmade Swap, I look forward to having you join us!

Yes, I must admit, the more I roam around on Craftsy, the more I want to do all the courses! I don't know if that is such a good thing?!

I couldn't agree more, I am such a sucker fro online learning as it is!! Before Craftsy I used to take classes from open universities etc, just to fulfill the nerd in me - so much fun!

    1. Hi Lisa,
I have started taking to watching my course on my cell instead of reading before bed - yes, it is that bad, but still cool!

  5. I have heard of Craftsy. A friend works for Craftsy behind the scenes so to speak, but I've never taken a class.
