Foofy Slide Rides and More

Yesterday, my work team and I made a day of it in a foofy slide (I think the rest of the world calls it a "Flying Fox") and Rope Course Park in Interlaken.

First we took a boat ride to Interlaken and then went by foot onto the park. Wow, Switzerland really is beautiful, all the castles and such.

Talk about pushing boundaries! I am definitely not a height kind of a person, but I realised whilst standing on the 11m high platform, that it isn't really the height that is the issue, my issue was trying to find a secure foothold with the floor that far below. Strange, it was more of a mental issue that a phyiscal one!

Needless to say by the end of the day, I decided to try the ultimate "Foofy Slide" Experience. Flying from tree top to tree top in 20m heights. Not for the feint hearted I might tell you :) Today I am sore, have stiff upper-arms from holding on for dear life, but am determine to knit!

I forgot to take my camera, not that I would have dared take pictures from that kind of a platform anyway. I did take photos on my camera, but the photos aren't that great as you can see. Here is the introductory video of the park so you can see what I was up to :)
Have a great weekend.

  1. Wow how brave of you! I don't care for heights either, and get dizzy up high. Makes me feel as if I'm going to fall so I just avoid that sort of stuff lol.

Thanks for linking up and have a great weekend!
