And now onto this week's tutorial.

I am going to be sharing my serviette bag tutorial with you today. Not only will I show you how to create this bag, but I feel extremely privileged that I have been able to adorn my bag with the amazing hand-crafted buttons from Incomparable Buttons. The wonderful folk at Incomparable Buttons sent me their "African Set - L253" to use in exchange for this tutorial which I am very happy to do :)
What I used to create this bag:
A Serviette
Struktur Gel (Gonis*)
DecoPointer (Gonis*)
A Blank Canvas Bag
Incomparable Button Set L253

First cut the Serviette to the size needed.

Mark the spot where the serviette will be placed on the bag, and cover this surface with a layer of Struktur gel.

Remove the two bottom layers of the serviette.
Place the Top layer of the serviette on to the spot covered in the Struktur gel.
Cover the serviette with Struktur gel.
Allow to dry and then on we go to embellishing :)
Sew on the funky buttons to the places where preferred.
Once all buttons are attached, I then decorated the bag with the DekoPointer*.
And there you have it :)
Thank you to Incomparable Buttons for these amazing extras to make this bag so unique.
Thank you to Totally Tutorials for making this exchange possible :)

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and that you will come back next week for more tutorial fun.

* For more info on these products please contact me.
I will be sharing this post with all my talented Link-Ups

  6. This is great! I have a little pack of dog bone shaped buttons. Maybe I'll try something similar with some dog print fabric on a tote and decorate with them. Thanks for the inspiration!!
