stash-busting blanket

I can't quite believe it, already 502 posts?
Wow, thank you so much to all of you out there who support and visit on a regular basis, I have grown and learnt so much in the past two years, it has been wonderful thus far :)
To celebrate this fact, I will be hosting a really big Goody Bag Giveaway in the first week of August so do come back next week and see what you could win!

How has your last week been?

Mine has been productive WIP-wise, and I have set myself a goal of crocheting a ball of yarn onto my Stash-Busting Blanket each day.

Drops Karisma

I have 4 more balls to go and then my stash that I can use up for this project is complete! So, to complete my stash-busting blanket I am going to need to purchase some new yarn - LOL how ironic :D

I am so excited for Friday. It is time for this month's Knitting Madness Hangout and this time it looks as if we may have a full house. I can't wait to meet all of the lovely ladies who have signed up for the event.
On Monday I will tell you all about it :)

Tomorrow I will be sharing this with you all on Tutorial Thursdays:

making one-of-a-kind flowers

I hope you will be dropping by to share your craft posts with us all.
Do take a moment and vote for your favourite link from this past week.

I will be sharing this post with my usual ladies :)

    1. Hi Emma,
You know it is that wonderfully mindless kind of pattern that you can almost do with eyes closed, and the 50g ball gets me about 5 1/2 sides of crochet which isn't that much :) I am having a little trouble with the heat though, the crochet is fine, but having this huge blanket sit on my lap whilst busy at 27°C is a bit too much to bear and I am having to wait till the sun goes down to start on my ball for the day.
Thanks so much for visiting, hope you are also having great weather.

  3. lol I love the idea of having to buy yarn to stash bust! A ball a day, wow :-o I was going to say you must be a fast hooker but then thought that sounded a bit rude!

    1. Hi Beth,
It really only sounds a lot, it takes me roughly an hour as they are small balls (50g) :)
      Thanks for visiting.
