Sock Weather

socks

My picture is a bit sparse this week, I think it is one of the emptiest shots I have shown you this year. Does this mean I am twiddling my thumbs?

Not really, just busy with lots of new things behind the scenes ;) I should have lots to share with you soon again!

I have ordered my book club book to read and is taking a while to get here so I am considering getting the audio and listening to it in the meantime, otherwise I won't have it finished in time for next month's book club!

As you can see above I have started on my Socks for the Hiya Hiya KAL. This is turning out to be a great pattern and after a rough start (I didn't read the pattern ;( ) I am now on my way and thoroughly enjoying it.

Our weather has turned, we are most definitely into autumn!
I love this time of year, such gorgeous colours!
Here is my view this morning :)

I have started creating some goodies for my partner and look forward to sending it off soon.

    1. Hi Momentsofpeacemama,
It is beautiful, but I must honestly say that at times I take it for granted, but there are occasions, like this morning, where I look out and think how beautiful this place really is!
      Thanks so much for visiting.

  3. I love the yarn colors you're using now. Very beautiful.
Also, I'm jealous of your view. We have already been frosted many times over.

    1. Hi Christine,
This yarn is from a project that has been hibernating so long I plan to knit it up into something else :) I hope the patterning of the socks will be clearly visible as it really is a nice pattern!
      Thanks so much for visiting.

  4. It definitely is sock weather over here too. I've been constantly wearing the pair I knitted a couple of weeks ago...I must make some more. Love your yarn. Happy knitting.

    1. Hi Debby,
I love socks and their quick "knitability". Especially after knitting jerseys, they almost feel instantaneous :)
Thank you kindly for your visit.
